We spent our vacation in utah last month. Eric’s parents have a cabin near Yellowstone park so we stayed there for almost two weeks. It was nice to get away from the city hustle without emails and mobile. but after a while I started to get bored and missed Chicago even my work strangely. I guess it proves the grass is always greener theory.

I am always so amazed that people could run Marathon, Eric’s young brother entered to run a Marathon this year in Columbia, MO, can you believe it, the road is winding, most of the routes you have to do ups and downs. He did not finish, as when he got trained, he just did half of it the most, so he could not run after the half, we went to pick him up, but I am still very proud of him!

I’ve started putting our family albums in monthly categories, beginning with November. Pictures of special trips we take will continue to be separate albums; i.e., the recent Springfield trip to the Dana House, built by Frank Lloyd Wright, and then our upcoming trip next week of Branson, which we will post later.

Today was too choppy to go out into the Atlantic which would have been a much shorter and
faster day from Cape May to Atlantic City. We had to take the ICW which had its own challenges- curves, narrow channels, shallow and shoaling. We couldn’t sit back and relax almost the entire time – 50 miles - 6 hours - ridiculous isn’t it? But we did see lots of birds and very different scenery which I will put up on website soon.

I went to the butterfly house in the Ozarks a few weeks ago with my friend Hua, but there were not butterflies in there. Hmm… maybe we got there too early. Right now I’m cruising up the Chesapeake Bay with my parents. They’re all right. Still playful companions… some good jokes mixed in with a lot of not so good ones. Little fishing island yesterday with some struggle families… like the trailer park,
but they all seemed to be having a fairly good time and the kids were playing capture the flag around some houses with dirty yards. I think if the ocean level rose about 6 inches the island would be underwater when the tide was high.
